Families are encouraged to come and celebrate in the Earth Day Festival. Enjoy music, free crafts, activities, face painting, demonstrations and more in downtown Gatlinburg from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. Bring the entire family to Gatlinburg to the annual Earth Day Festival to learn about easy green practices, enjoy music, activities and games, craft stations, and food. Gatlinburg area green businesses and organizations will be onsite with activities and information. Earth Week t-shirts featuring the art work of a local student will be for sale at the festival. All sales will benefit the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce Foundation which provides local scholarships, donations to schools, the Gatlinburg Goes Green Program and community educational events.

Share a few days with Women of Joy – a ministry that has been changing the lives of women since 1994. Based in Decatur, AL and lead by Phil and Debbie Waldrep, these weekends serve and minister to crowds ranging from 1,000 to 14,000 women at each event. These incredible weekends are designed, created and intended to bring women of all ages and cultures together to help you pursue a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ.

Earth Day 5K Run/Walk in beautiful Gatlinburg. Funds raised will benefit the Chamber Foundation’s initiatives in education and green program. Runners and walkers are invited to celebrate Earth Week by participating in the annual Earth Day 5k Run/Walk in beautiful downtown Gatlinburg. This night race is scheduled on April 27, 2018 at 10:00 pm. Athletes of all ages are welcome to participate in this USATF sanctioned event. Early registration is encouraged to guarantee your shirt size. Race night registration begins at 8:00 pm. Proceeds benefit the Gatlinburg Chamber of Commerce Foundation, a non-profit organization providing local scholarships, donations to schools, the Gatlinburg Goes Green Program and educational events for the community.
